About NomadChad
Who we are
NomadChad is a small business run by Texans who are currently slow-traveling as digital nomads. We're based in Texas, and we make the kind of guide we want before a trip: short, specific and easy to use on the go.
What we make
Each guide is a short, practical PDF built for one specific trip, such as a 2- or 3-day Big Bend visit or a first stay in Da Nang. You get steps, tables, checklists and printable pages instead of long essays. Every guide costs $3.99.
Where we've been
We write from experience where we have it.
Texas: it's home. We've visited Big Bend, Fredericksburg and the Texas Panhandle several times.
Japan: a year of work there, plus vacations, including Tokyo, Saga, Kumamoto and Aizuwakamatsu.
Vietnam: we lived in Da Nang for 3 months, from June to September 2026.
Ghana: a month-long work stay in Accra.
Singapore: worked there on and off.
Malaysia: our Penang and Kuala Lumpur guides are built from research, and we're testing them on the ground starting in October 2026.
Where we haven't been, the guide is built from research using official sources. We never claim to have been somewhere we haven't.
How we keep it honest
Prices, fares and opening hours change. We check them against official sources, note the month we checked, and treat them as approximate, so please confirm before you go.
We don't take paid placements. Nobody pays to be included or recommended in a guide.
